This is basic proofreading, so I tackle all grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The Inkslinger seeks to join Biola's creative artists from all academic disciplines in production of a single literary journal. We accept short fiction, poetry, and black and white photography from students in all disciplines. This package can be added or purchased separate from beta reading. The Inkslinger is Biola University's creative arts journal, published once every semester. Topics covered include: opening scene, characterization & motivation, plot & conflict, pacing, setting & worldbuilding, dialogue, craft, and overall impression. This service also includes a star rating and a suggestion for a genre. Along with above, it also includes pointing out the strengths and weaknesses in each chapter, dialogue, and anything that is a little awkward as far as characters and story line. This service is an extended version of the beta reading. I will also include my thoughts and comments after each chapter. My beta reading includes plot holes, readability, character development, the flow and any overarching comments on the story line.
